Install the Netgear WG511 Software

• 1). Insert the CD that came with the device into your computer's CD-ROM drive. The computer should automatically start the installation wizard. If not, double click "My Computer" and then double click your CD-ROM drive letter. Double click the "autorun.exe" file inside the folder.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Install Driver & Utility" link in the software window.
  
  
• 3). Click through the remaining prompts and click "Next" to proceed. The "Connection Wizard" opens and directs you to insert the wireless device.

• 1). Insert the adapter into your computer's cardbus slot. Gently push the Netgear adapter until the device is firmly seated in the slot.
  
  
• 2). Click the Netgear Configuration Assistant radio button to configure your adapter. Click the "Next" button.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Yes (Recommended)" radio button when asked if you would like the wizard to guide you through configuration. Click the "Finish" button.
  
  
• 4). Click your wireless network in the "Network Name (SSID)" box. Click the "Next" button. Proceed through the wizard for security settings, if required. Review your settings and click the "Finish" button. The
  
  
• 5). Wait for Connection Wizard to initiate the connection. Once the connection is established, the Smart Wizard Settings page will open. Verify your connection using the status bar in the lower-right corner of the screen. Click the "Close" button to complete your setup.
