Whether you want to lose weight or maintain your current one, the key is your nutrition.
It's much easier to consume calories than it is to eat them.
Therefore, you need to learn how to stop eating fattening foods.
Unless you do that, it will be a much harder challenge to avoid getting fat.
Here are some tips which will help you avoid fattening foods and make it much easier to keep a great looking body: 1.
Learn and identify
To stop eating fattening foods, you need to know how to identify them.
Make a habit to read product labels.
Take a note of the calories they contain, their overall fat content and their saturated fat in particular.
Avoid foods with trans-fat.
Also, reduce foods which contain a lot of sugar or artificial sweeteners.
Too much sugar will either be converted to fat or make you feel hungrier.
Sodium rich foods should also be avoided.
Once you identify the foods you wish to avoid, write them down.
This will be your fattening foods list which you must now avoid.
2.
Clear out your kitchen
I trust that your list will help you to stop buying fattening foods.
Now, you need to deal with those foods which you still have in your home.
I want you to go through your kitchen and eliminate all foods which can make you fat.
In particular, avoid those foods which you tend to overeat on.
By eliminate I don't mean that you should have one final feast.
You need to start eating healthy today.
Not tomorrow or the next day.
Just throw this food out or give it away.
3.
Keep healthy alternatives
Don't expect to not get hungry or to avoid cravings altogether.
The key is to provide yourself with health alternatives when you do experience the urge for a little something extra.
I usually have a lot of fruit as a source of sweetness at home.
My favorites are dates, figs, apples and pears.
I also have an assortment of unsalted nuts to provide me with healthy fats and something crunchy to chew on.
These include walnuts, almonds, cashew nuts, and pistachios.
4.
Drink more often
I often find that my body can't distinguish between being thirsty and hungry.
Often, a drink will help me overcome my cravings.
I love green tea with raw honey or a simple glass of water.
Works nearly every time.
