Right click the “My Computer” icon on the desktop. Select “Properties.”

Click the “Advanced” tab.

Click the “Settings” button in the box labeled “Startup and Recovery.”

Click the “Edit” button under “System Startup.” You will see a Notepad document titled boot.ini with several lines of code.

Find the line of code that contains the name of the operating system you do not want to boot. Delete that line.

Save the file and exit out of settings.

Restart your computer.
