How to Change the Spray Arm Bearing on a GE Dishwasher

    • 1). Flip the GE dishwasher’s breaker switch, at your electrical breaker, to the “Off” position.

    • 2). Pull out the lower rack from the GE dishwasher.

    • 3). Unscrew the cap on the top center of the spray arm by turning it counterclockwise. You will see the bearing beneath the cap.

    • 4). Pull out the old bearing, using needle-nose pliers.

    • 5). Insert the new bearing by pushing it down until it snaps into place.

    • 6). Replace the cap on the center of the spray arm.

    • 7). Turn the power back on to the GE dishwasher.
