Heat Pump Promotion - We Must Get Green And Lean

The thing I love about heat pumps is that they are a particularly low energy consumption way for us humans to co-exist with our environments.
Rather than use up massive amounts of energy to generate heat or cooling for our homes and offices, we can more simply generate our heating and cooling needs from nearby to where we want and need it to be.
In summer this means taking the heat from our homes and offices and pumping it out and into the ground by a network of circulating water pipes, and the same in reverse during winter - using the stable ground temperature and heating the water we circulate through the network of pipes and delivering this warmer temperature to our home with the heat pumping system.
Generally speaking reverse cycle air-conditioning systems are intensive consumers of electrical energy, and this energy is most often generated by burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.
Yet there are massive stores of hot and cold energy in the same ground our homes and offices are built on, and it cheaper and cleaner way to respect our environment is to harvest this energy with low power consumption heat pumping systems.
We can move heat from our homes to the cooler ground all through the peak summer season at a small fraction of the cost of using traditional air-conditioning systems.
And in the freezing ice-covered winters, the underlying ground temperature is unchanged and can also be harvested to warm our homes.
The initial upfront cost is quickly mitigating by amortizing it over the medium to long-term when accounting for the energy savings and the lower maintenance costs, and the entire system is an asset adding true value to your home.
Our kids respect us when we make clean decisions.
In future decades I will not be surprised if Governments mandate and legislate that all home owners must install geothermal, air and water heat pumps where possible to conserve energy and minimize green house gas emissions.
