Why Choose Caravanning Over Tenting During Camping?

Camping is a word that a dictionary would define as an outdoor recreational activity.
However, as simple as its meaning is, the mere mention of the word brings a lot of excitement to a lot of children.
Camping is a fun-filled activity, may it be on a cabin or camping via tenting or caravanning.
Due to financial constraints many opt to go for camping instead of renting cabins in national parks.
Now, the question is: which is a better way to camp? Well, I would say caravanning is a much better way to go on camping.
Let me tell you the reasons why I suggested caravanning over tenting during a camping trip.
Safety is always a main issue during any activity.
A very common question that is raised during any activity is: is it safe for the kids and adults? Well, I will tell you that as safe as any activity might seem to be, accidents during are inevitable and are unexpected.
So the best way to avoid such accidents is to choose the right way to do the activity.
When camping, you can choose between tenting and caravanning.
As far as safety is concerned, caravanning would really be the best choice.
Why? See, during camping trips in national parks one cannot be certain that nothing will bother you during your stay.
In fact, during a trip to the wild it is you who are bothering the wild in their own domain.
During camping trips animal attacks could happen such as: possum, raccoon, wild dogs, moose, mountain lion, snake and my most favorite: bear attacks.
Though statistics show that there are very minimal numbers of attacks that happen, still you do not want to end up being part of that statistic, right? During tenting you are exposed to the wild with just a thin piece of water-proof canvas to protect you from these wild creatures.
Lucky for you if you encounter a raccoon or a possum, but what if you encounter a mountain lion or a bear? How can a thin piece of canvas protect you? This is how the caravan has the advantage.
Almost all caravans such as an RV to be more specific are made up of lightweight aluminum and stainless alloy, which give you the hardness of the stainless steel while being as light as aluminum.
This is certainly enough to protect you and your family from attacks coming from huge creatures such as your bear and mountain lions.
Now, how about the sneaky ones like the possum and raccoon or the very stealthy snake? Well, you need not to worry when you are inside an RV, as it does have sealed doors and windows that can protect you from unwanted visitors that might attack your stash of food for the whole trip.
You see, it is not only the animal attack that poses a threat to you and your family during a trip to the wild.
Weather is another problem that campers encounter.
During light rain and moderate gush of wind, the tent can protect you, but during storms and unforeseen blizzards it will be useless.
The RV will surely be able to take on heavy rains and strong winds without a problem plus when the area becomes unsafe, and you want to transfer to a much safer place, all you have to do is drive.
In conclusion, as far as safety is concerned, I will have to say that a caravanning type of camping would be a much better way to go.
