Things You'll Need

Instructions

1

Place protective gloves on your hands. Resin can irritate the skin and be somewhat difficult to remove. Protective gloves will protect your hands from spills and splashes that might occur as you pour.
2

Combine your liquid resin and hardener in your plastic disposable measuring cup. Ensure that you mix equal parts of both resin and hardener.
3

Stir both the resin and hardener together using your mixing stick until both parts are fully blended. Mix for at least two minutes to ensure thorough mixing. If you are adding dyes or paint to tint your resin, add these additives during this process so the dye is fully mixed with the resin.
4

Pour the resin into the glass you wish to fill with the resin. Center the resin stream in the center of the glass as you pour so the resin doesn’t create drips on the sides of the glass. Don’t move the glass in an attempt to level out the resin. The resin will settle and level on its own.
5

Allow the resin to cure for 24 hours before moving the glass. Once the resin has cured, the resin will be solid, allowing you to tilt or turn the glass without the resin destabilizing.
