There are many people that suffer with anxiety issues each day.
For some it is a part of their everyday life, feeling anxious about things going on in their life but for others their anxiety can consume them.
They will have what is called a panic attack and they find it hard to get themselves back under control when these attacks happen.
So how do you know if it is just anxiety or if you are suffering with a panic disorder? The symptoms of anxiety can vary from one person to the next.
Most people may feel uneasy or anxious.
They may have an over whelming sense of despair or just worry that something will happen.
Depending on the severity of the anxiety issues there may be physical symptoms as well.
The person may feel their muscles get tense or they may feel as if they are trembling for no reason.
Some people complain of a headache or a nauseous feeling.
You may even find that you will have diarrhea right after the anxiety starts.
Many of these symptoms can be signs of other illnesses or ailments so it can be difficult to determine if this is anxiety.
Many people may feel as if they are suffering with a stroke or a heart attack when they start to have signs of anxiety.
The important thing is to remain calm and try not to over react.
If these symptoms do not go awaym then you will need to seek the advice of a medical professional so you can be sure that you are treating the right issue.
Since the signs and symptoms of anxiety panic disorder are very similar to that of anxiety issues but they will be more persistent.
People with a panic disorder will suffer with unexpected panic attacks for no apparent reason.
In addition to the panic attacks the person may also feel constant worry as if they are losing their mind and they may even become agoraphobic as they fear being out in public and having a panic attack start while they are out in public and they have no way of getting things under control.
If you feel that you suffer with anxiety problems or a panic disorder it is important for you to talk with a doctor.
He or she can help you determine if it is anxiety attacks or a panic disorder that you suffer with.
Together you and your doctor can work out a treatment plan that is right for you.
The doctor may also get you into a therapy group to help you learn how to handle the attacks when you feel that they are coming.
There are breathing exercises that you can do to help you ward off the attack.
