Simple Method

• 1). Press the "Home" button to reach the Home screen. This button is on the far left below the display.
  
  
• 2). Tap the applications option, which is in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  
  
• 3). Tap "Internet." A message will display asking you which app you want to use for this.
  
  
• 4). Tap the "Use by default for this action" option to put a check mark beside it.
  
  
• 5). Tap "Skyfire" to open the browser and set it as the default browser.
  
  

Alternate Method

• 1). Identify your current default browser if you don't already know what it is. Press the "Home" button, which has the image of a house on it, and then tap the applications option in the lower-left corner of the screen. Select "Internet" to see which application starts and is therefore the default browser.
  
  
• 2). Press the "Home" button to reach the Home screen, and then press the "Menu" button, which is just to the right of the Home button.
  
  
• 3). Tap "Settings" and then "Applications." Tap "Manage applications."
  
  
• 4). Tap the tab labeled "All" and scroll down to your current default browser. Tap the browser app to open information about it.
  
  
• 5). Tap the "Clear defaults" button to remove that browser as your default option. Press the "Home" button again.
  
  
• 6). Tap the applications option in the lower-left corner and select "Internet." A prompt will display on your screen.
  
  
• 7). Tap the 'Use by default for this action" option to enable it.
  
  
• 8). Tap "Skyfire" to set that application as your default Web browser.
