Relationship Advice For Men
Relationship Advice for Men:
1) Your partner is not "one of the boys". That's right; she isn't another one of your male friends. Of course there's no doubt you'll always remember this when the two of you are rolling around between the sheets, but you also need to remember it at other times. Guys can hang out together for hours and hardly speak a word, but women are different. Women like to be acknowledged, and it's no secret that they love to talk. If you treat the woman in your life as if she's just one of the boys, you'll soon see the back of her as she walks out the door for the last time.
2) You also need to accept the fact that your lady will almost certainly see intimacy in a different light to you. Intimacy, for most men, simply means sex, but for a woman, it means a whole lot more. Intimacy for a woman, means holding hands, snuggling up together on a couch, and plenty of meaningful kisses, even if there's no real reason for them apart from love. This is probably the most important piece of relationship advice for men that anyone can ever give, particularly if you want your relationship to last. Also, you need to heed this advice even if your lady goes through a stage where she's not overly keen on having sex.
3) Every man should remember that their partner may communicate in a different way to them. Men and women communicate differently, and in fact, there have been hundreds of books written about these differences. In order to give your relationship a strong foundation, you'd be well advised to make an effort in understanding these differences, because as you can imagine, communication within a marriage is crucial. You may even want to consider working on your own communication skills so that when you need to convey an important message to your partner, you'll at least know that you're getting the message across.
4) Plenty of the relationship advice for men which one comes across, emphasizes that "action speaks louder than words", but it fails to address the fact that words are equally as important. For many men, action is more important than words, but almost all women place a lot of value on the spoken word. Always make sure you tell your partner how much you love them, and don't only do that on rare occasions. Of course, telling her you love her is important, but don't forget you'll also need to make it show through your actions. This can be done by helping her out with the housework and by making frequent romantic gestures.
Perhaps the best relationship advice for men is that they should do whatever it takes to familiarize themselves with the many differences which exist between men and women. If you really want to make an impression on the love of your life, then you should try your best to understand her. Even small gestures, which may seem insignificant to you, can go a long way in building a strong relationship, especially if those gestures are backed up by the correct choice of words. Of course, sincerity is also a must.
