In order to keep weight off you need to have healthy eating habits like a good healthy eating diet.
You need to eat healthy foods and you will not put your weight back on.
Tip 1: Go food shopping on your own If you go shopping with your children or your partner you can end up buying a lot of junk food.
To stop this from happening go shopping on your own and also make sure that you are the only person who buys food for your family.
Tip 2: Do not buy soft drinks Try buying things like milk instead of soft drinks.
Only have your favorite fizzy drinks on a special occasion or as a treat.
Buying milk or a milk substitute will give you a healthy option and help keep your bones strong and healthy.
Tip 3: Buy more fruit Buying more fruit will help you on your way to five a day for a healthy heart.
Fresh fruit is always good but do not forget there is a great choice of frozen fruit available in most stores now which is just as good.
Also you could try dried fruit, this is great to put in kids lunchboxes as an alternative to a chocolate bar.
Tip 4: Eat fish If you can introduce more fish into your diet it will give you more variety instead of just meat and veg or hot dogs.
Things like homemade fish pie are not only great dish but are also a healthy option for your family.
Tip 5: Eat foods that are water rich Water rich foods are things like salads, watermelon etc.
The rule is if you can run a tap of water over it and it is still edible then fill up on it.
