How to Use the Poke Radar in "Diamond"
- 1). Travel to Professor Rowan's lab in Sandgem Town and talk to Professor Oak. He will give you the National Pokedex. Professor Rowan will then give you the Poke Radar, but he will not explain how to use it.
- 2). Turn on the Poke Radar and walk around in the tall grass. Music will play, and some of the grass around you will begin to rustle. There are wild Pokemon in the grass.
- 3). Walk into the rustling grass to initiate a wild Pokemon encounter.
- 4). Look for the next rustling patch of grass and enter it for the next wild Pokemon encounter.
- 5). Repeat steps 2 through 4 until you have captured the Pokemon you want or you have suffered a defeat.
- 6). Walk 50 steps to recharge the Poke Radar after each Poke Radar session is over.
