    Orlando

    • The Orlando area houses many of Florida's theme park attractions and entertainment venues. Visitors can vacation at the Walt Disney World Resorts (Disneyworld.com), SeaWorld (seaworld.com) or Universal Studios Orlando (universalorlando.com). Tourists can spend time shopping at the different venues including the Premium Outlets (premiumoutlets.com), the Florida Mall (simon.com) or The Pointe (thepointeorlando.com). International Drive (internationaldriveorlando.com), also known as I-Drive, runs through the heart of Orlando's tourist area and hosts many of the city's hotels, resorts, attractions, restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues.

    Florida Keys

    • The Florida Keys is a chain of islands just off the southernmost tip of Florida including Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Key West, Big Pine Key and the Lower Keys. The water surrounding the Florida Keys offers opportunities to participate in water sports such as fishing, snorkeling, diving and boating. Local attractions include museums, shopping strips, clubs and restaurants. Visitors can enjoy annual events, including the Annual Conch Republic Independence Celebrations in May or Conchtoberfest in October.

    Tampa Bay

    • The Tampa Bay area is home to different activities that visitors of all ages can enjoy. The Treasure Island (treasureislandflorida.org) or John's Pass (johnspass.com) areas offer places to spend the day at the beach, go on a boating excursion, go shopping, dining, take a ghost tour and view live entertainment. Just up the road are two of the area's wineries, Winery Road (wineryroadtrip.com) and Johnson Brothers of Florida (johnsonbrothers.com), which offer tours and wine tastings. Attractions in the Tampa Bay area include Busch Gardens (buschgardens.com), Lowry Park Zoo (lowryparkzoo.com) and the St. Pete Pier, which is home to the Pier Aquarium (stpetepier.com).

    Space Coast

    • The Kennedy Space Center and the Astronaut Hall of Fame (kennedyspacecenter.com) are two of the biggest attractions on the Space Coast. Visitors can enjoy a tour of the space center or explore the hall of fame where they can watch a movie in a life-sized replica of the Space Shuttle. Just down the road from Kennedy Space Center is Daytona, a classic spring break destination which is also home to the Daytona International Speedway (daytonainternationalspeedway.com), Bike Week in March and Biketoberfest in October.

    Miami

    • Miami Beach plays host to different cultural dining experiences, including Cuban, Italian, Greek and Japanese restaurants. Recreational opportunities in Miami including spending time at the beach, taking a glass bottom boat tour, golfing or bus tours of the city. For the sports fans, Miami has the Dolphins, Heat, Marlins, Panthers and Hurricanes. Gulfstream Park (gulfstreampark.com) in nearby Hallandale Beach offers thoroughbred racing and a casino. The South Beach area (visitsouthbeachonline.com) offers nightclubs, live music, dining and entertainment.
