    • 1). Log in to Windows with a user account that has administrator credentials.

    • 2). Click "Start," type "System Restore" in the search box and press "Enter" on the keyboard. The System Restore window will open.

    • 3). Click "Next" to display a list of restore points for your computer. Select a restore point that was created before you began experiencing errors or problems with the Backup utilities. Click "Next."

    • 4). Click "Finish" in the Confirmation page to start the System Restore process. Your computer will restart and the utility will repair the Backup and other utilities to the condition described in the restore point.
