There's a lot of dope music coming out of Europe, and im not just talking about Holland & Sweden...
The Italian party rockers Blatta & Inesha are the ones responsible for my recent sprint towards Tinnitus.
Fortunately, I had the opportunity to catch up with the duo before faxing my soul to the abyss....

Mr Dirty Smart interviews Blatta & Inesha...
Mr Dirty Smart: If you've been living in a hole for a few years you may not have heard of Blatta & Inesha. What do you want say to these peeps?
Blatta & Inesha: Try to buy a house... holes suck!!!
Mr Dirty Smart: A Hip Hop turntablist (Inesha) joining forces with a Rock N Rolla (Blatta) to produce dark techno sounds a bit random...
Blatta & Inesha: I guess we just try to escape from the sound everybody wants to hear in that specific moment...Techno is the next genre we gotta escape from... LOL. This idea pushes us to experiment constantly... Being honest, our music is all about the bass and random sexual references... Those are the basic ingredients, then the shape of the music itself is a perpetual evolution.
Mr Dirty Smart: My favourite Blatta & Inesha track is 'Pet Massage', what is your favourite Blatta & Inesha track and why?
Blatta & Inesha: Probably 'Pet Massage' too, and probably because of the artwork.
Mr Dirty Smart: Im also a fan of the track 'Fetish!' by Doc Trashz, however my creative director 'Shaolin' hates it... would you agree that he is an idiot?
Blatta & Inesha: Maybe he's just not into fetishism, or maybe he really dresses like a gimp at night and he's too scared to admit it.
Mr Dirty Smart: (I wouldn't put it past him!) What's your favourite sandwich?
Blatta & Inesha: With my friends in my city when we say "Panini" we mean a threesome... So if there are 2 girls involved i guess every kind of sandwich is more than welcome!
Mr Dirty Smart: What country produces the best women?
Blatta & Inesha: Poland, Finland and Australia.
Mr Dirty Smart: There's some incredible talent coming out of Italy. Is there anyone we should be keeping our eye on?
Blatta & Inesha: Doc Trashz, The Rox & Deface.
Mr Dirty Smart: You've worked with some of my favourite producers- Doc trashz, Mustard Pimp, Gtronic, Don Rimini, Congorock e.t.c... who is the best at arm wrestling?
Blatta & Inesha: Never arm wrestled any of them, but i would have go with Gtronic because he looks the most cut...
Mr Dirty Smart: What's in store for 2012?
Blatta & Inesha: We have a new track called 'Anatomy' coming out on Dim Mak in Feb; in my opinion it's the natural progression of Pet Massage. Then we have 'Consign To Oblivion', the track we produced with Casino Gold coming out soon as well as a new original called 'Texas Techno'.
As for remixes, we just remixed the Plump Dj's track 'Gobstopper', out in March on their label Grand Hotel; and also we did a brand new version of a big Plumps hit form 2002 and they honored us by adding it to their album out in April.
Also we are going to the US on tour in March, things are going great over there, i'm so excited!
Mr Dirty Smart: (I heard 'Anatomy' on Blatta & Inesha's most recent mixtape (The Sound Of Techno Nouveau) & its f**cking incred!) Any final words?
Blatta & Inesha: Dirty Smart tees don't shrink and the graphics don't fade, even when my girl washes them horribly 5000 times! Oli i'll email you my IBAN code later ;)
Mr Dirty Smart: Cheers fellas, im off to get a Panini from Poland. Ill transfer you the cheddar later!
