    • 1). Plug an Ethernet cable into the back of the Internet modem.

    • 2). Connect the opposite end to the "Input" end of the Ethernet splitter.

    • 3). Connect the Ethernet cables to the "Output" end of the Ethernet splitter; connect the opposite ends of the cables to the "Data" jacks on the Belkin wireless routers.

    • 4). Follow the instructions contained in your instruction manual for your particular model of Belkin router to establish the first wireless network. This will generally consist of accessing your router by inputting the access address in your instruction booklet (something like http://192.168.0.1), and following onscreen instructions to assign your network a name and determine the level of encryption strength that you wish to use for security purposes. Where in doubt, choose the strongest level of encryption (128-bit).

    • 5). Repeat the process for the second router.
