The Compaq Presario R3000 is a notebook computer developed by Compaq in 2004 to serve the business and design markets. The processor speed and amount of memory available allow for easy document editing, in addition to image and graphic-handling capabilities. As of 2010, the Presario R3000 is serviced by Hewlett Packard technical support. - The Compaq Presario R3000 utilizes a single-core, 1.6 GHz Athlon 3000+ processor and 256MB of DDR SDRAM. The Athlon processor uses less energy than Intel processors, lending the three-hour battery life of the Compaq laptop.
