Sony A230 Vs. Sony A330
- The Sony A230 and A330 are 10.2 megapixel DSLR cameras. Neither camera is available to purchase new from Sony as of October 2010, though you can find the A330 available refurbished for around $420.
- The A230 is smaller and thinner than the A330. It weighs 452 g versus the 491 g A330. The A230 is also 128 mm wide, 97 mm high, and 67.5 mm deep as opposed to the A330, which is the same width and height but 71.4 mm deep.
- Both cameras have a 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD display screen, an onscreen help guide and a user-friendly function menu. The A330 display screen is tilt-able, while the LCD on the A230 is stationary.
- Both cameras can take pictures in a variety of settings, including portraits, sunsets, sports events and even night portraits. They have nine focus points that cover a wide area, as well as a built-in flash and the option to change the lens.
- The A230 and A330 come with similar accessory packages. These include a shoulder strap, USB cable, battery charger, battery, body cap and photo editing software. They also come with a standard Sony zoom lens, the DT18-55 mm.
