Using Drag And Drop Method

• 1). Connect the mini end of your device's USB cable to your Sylvania SMPK8854B MP3 Player and connect the opposite end of the cable to an open USB port on your computer. After connecting your device, Windows will recognize it and a small removable device message will appear on your taskbar.
  
  
• 2). Go to "Start" and click "Computer." You will notice your Sylvania MP3 player is listed in the "Devices with Removable Storage" section of the Windows Explorer window.
  
  
• 3). Double-click your device's icon. Your MP3 player's folders will appear.
  
  
• 4). Create a new "Music" folder. You can create a new folder by right-clicking an open space in the folder window, highlighting the "New" option and selecting "Folder." After creating the folder, rename it to "Music."
  
  
• 5). Open the folder that contains your music files, such as "My Music."
  
  
• 6). Select the songs you want to copy from your computer to your Sylvania MP3 Player. After selecting the files, click and drag them to the "Music" folder you created in the Windows Explorer window.
  
  

Using Windows Media Player

• 1). Connect your Sylvania SMPK8854B MP3 player to your computer by using the device's USB cable.
  
  
• 2). Go to "Start," click "All Programs" and open Windows Media Player.
  
  
• 3). Click "Music," which is located in the "Library" navigation menu on the left side of the screen. A list of songs in your music library will appear.
  
  
• 4). Click the "Sync" tab, which is located on the top right side of the screen.
  
  
• 5). Select the songs you want to sync from your music library to your MP3 player.
  
  
• 6). Click and drag the highlighted songs to the "Sync" pane. After adding your music, click the "Start Sync" button to begin copying your music to your MP3 player.
