How to Remove a Lebaron Interior Door Panel
- 1). Pry the speaker cover off the door panel using the trim tool. Remove the two screws behind the cover using the Phillips screwdriver.
- 2). Pry the window switch bezel out of the door panel with the trim tool. Unplug the wiring harness from the underside of the switches by hand.
- 3). Lift the upholstery out of the door-pull pocket by hand and then remove the exposed screw with the Phillips screwdriver.
- 4). Remove the three screws in the carpeted area of the bottom of the door panel with the Phillips screwdriver. You will need to run your fingers over the carpeting slowly and carefully to locate these screw holes, as the carpeting tends to hide them.
- 5). Lift the door panel up and away from the door far enough to allow you access to the wiring harness leading to the courtesy lamp in the bottom of the door panel. Disconnect that harness by hand and then completely remove the door panel.
