Teens and Acne - Why Teens Are Prone to Acne

Teens bodies are sensitive just as small babies bodies are.
With everything changing on the inside, it is only natural that it would show on the outside.
Teens are prone to many chemical changes around the ages of 9 to 14.
Puberty is one of the most common reasons teens have breakouts.
Women usually experience more severe problems than men, but men are not in any way immune to pimples.
As our bodies change into more of an adult-like form, chemicals take control and the bodies way of reacting is with zits.
It can be embarrassing, but it is normal and nothing to worry about unless it is taking control of your life.
There is nothing you can do to prevent it if it is part of growing, but you can diminish the affects and possibly eliminate them altogether.
Another reason why teens get pimples besides puberty is stress.
School and the pressure to be "beautiful" or "handsome" can be overwhelming for teens that are trying to balance everything else at the same time.
This reaction to stress is also normal and happens to adults as well.
It can be hard to be a young girl or boy with acne.
It can make them feel less confident, insecure, ugly, and like it might never go away.
Knowing why teens get zits may be helpful to them.
Understanding that it is normal is important as well; most teens feel like they may be the only ones that have pimples and cannot get rid of them.
Chances are, most of their friends also have the same issues and may be too ashamed to talk about it with anybody.
Fact is, almost everyone goes through these phases and eventually get over it.
It can either be treated or go away on it's own.
Growing older is hard to do but worth the hassle once you get there!
