How to Make a Whale out of an Envelope
- 1). Lift up the flap on the envelope that is used to seal it closed and cut it off, along the crease.
- 2). Fold one of the corners of the envelope over to the other. The two pieces will form a square. Cut off the excess piece, that's not part of the square.
- 3). Unfold the the envelope to reveal the square and crease in the center.
- 4). Fold the two opposite sides of the envelope towards the center, so they meet the crease. You will now have two long triangles right beside each other and a shorter triangle at the top.
- 5). Grip the edge of the smaller triangle and fold it inwards so the tip is just touching the bottom center of the two triangles.
- 6). Fold the entire envelope in half, along the original crease.
- 7). Place a piece of tape on the top of the whale to keep the two sides together.
- 8). Cut a small slit in the pointed edge of the whale.
- 9). Separate the two pieces so they are facing outward, and turn the entire edge up slightly so it resembles a whale's tail.

Color the whale blue or black and draw features on the whale such as eyes and fins.
