How to Save WordArt As a Screen Saver
- 1). Open Microsoft Word and then open the file that has the WordArt you wish to use as a screen saver.
- 2). Move your mouse pointer directly over the WordArt, right-click on it, and select "Copy" .
- 3). Minimize the Word window, and return to the Windows desktop. Open the Windows Paint program that comes standard on all Windows operating systems.
- 4). Click "Edit" at the top of the Paint window. Select "Paste". The WordArt image will be pasted into the Paint program. Save the file as you would any other file, but make sure to place it in the "My Pictures" folder of "My Documents".
- 5). Close the Paint program, go to the "My Pictures" folder, and open it. Move all of the picture files, except the WordArt file you just placed there, to another folder of your choosing.
- 6). Return to the desktop, click the "Start" button, and then follow this sequence of menu selections:
Control Panel=>Display=>Screen Saver. - 7). Click on the drop-down menu box in the center of the Display Properties window, and select ""My Pictures Slideshow". Adjust the screen saver settings to your preferences, click "OK", and you are finished.
