- About half of LG's dryers run on electricity. These models have capacities ranging from 4.2 to 7.3 cubic feet, with many holding 7 cubic feet or more. The company's gas dryers hold 7.1 to 7.4 cubic feet of laundry.
- About 85 percent of LG dryers are stackable, giving you a space-saving option in the laundry room. LG says the steam technology available on about half of its models can save you energy, money and time. The number of drying programs available on LG's appliances ranges from seven to 14, with settings such as air dry, towels, speed dry, small load and bulky/large. Dryers offer five temperature levels and can have seven to 12 options, including wrinkle care, anti-bacterial, crease care and static reduction. Buyers get a drying rack with certain appliances.
- Some models have an aluminized alloy drum, while others feature a stainless steel drum. Top plates may be constructed of porcelain or steel. A couple of models have a top plate made of LPM board, which LG describes as a "board cabinet finish." You get an LCD control panel on some models, while others have LED controls. Some dryers offer a reversible door.
- Blue, white, navy, red, gray, silver, steel and bronze hues represent your color choices for LG dryers. The manufacturer's suggested prices for its electric models range from $699 to $1,679 at the date of this publication. Gas models carry price tags of $769 to $1,759.
