Hi, I'm Marci Star, and I'm a professional makeup artist and CEO of STARLOOKS. And if you've ever wondered how to contour your face with products other than bronzer and highlighter, I'm here today to show you how to contour your face with concealer. So the first step to applying the perfect contouring with concealer is to first apply your favorite foundation as evenly as possible. The next step is to pick two concealers, one that's a little bit lighter than your skin and one that's a little bit darker and that way you'll be able to capture the highlights and the contours of the face. As you can see the two colors I've chosen one is a little bit lighter and one is just a tad darker. Here you can see the light being captured on the plateaus of her face. This is where you're going to apply that first concealer color. Just grab a little bit of that lightest color and swipe it across the plateau. It's OK if you're not getting a completely steady line. All we want to do is make sure that there's enough product there. There's always a bit of a plateau on the surface of the nose, above the eyebrows and just below the nose and on the chin. And we're about to blend this but next I want to apply the darker color first so that you can see the exact placement of the two different colors that are supposed to be on the face. OK now do your contour face. Now when this face is made you can see that there are shadows created. Instead of putting a lighter color on the plateau now we're going to take the darker color and we're going to place that in where there is meant to be a shadow or a contour on the face. Starting with the cheek. First we want to create a little shadow under the lighter color of the cheek, in the contour of the eyes, on the outside of the nose, everyone's favorite skinny trick, a little bit on the outside of the mouth and under the chin. Now you can see the exact placement that's required for concealer contouring. And now I'm going to go in with the same brush I used for her foundation and I'm going to blend these concealer colors together to make her perfect contoured face. And after adding a little bit of powder and a tiny bit of blush you have the perfectly prepped skin for your next makeup application.
