Campground Review and Description
Description: We spent two days here. Should not be confused with the Buckboard Campground, which is privately owned marina/campground located adjacent to this National Forest Campground.
Pros, Cons, Attractions and Additional Comments
Pros: Electric, water, dump station, wind/sun shelters, pull throughs, large enough for RVs. Ranger station, and CG host.
Cons: Nothing
Attractions: Flaming Gorge
Additional Comments: no comment.

From Ashley National Forest, Wyoming: "Buckboard Crossing Campground is located in a high desert landscape with sagebrush and a few scattered trees on the shores of Flaming Gorge Reservoir at an elevation of 6,100 feet. Typical weather ranges from warm days to cool nights. Fishing, boating, canoeing, waterskiing, and swimming are popular activities on the lake. There is a marina, gas/propane, convenience store and RV dump are located onsite."
