How to Program a Keyless Remote Entry Transmitter
- 1). Enter your car through the driver's door with your car's key and your keyless remote. Close the doors and the trunk behind you.
- 2). Insert your key into the ignition and turn it two clicks to the "On" position.
- 3). Press either the unlock or lock button on your remote and turn the key back one click to the "Off" position.
- 4). Cycle the key back to "On," press the lock or unlock button again and turn the key back to "Off."
- 5). Repeat this step for a third time by turning the key to "On," pressing a button on the remote and cycling back to "Off."
- 6). Turn the key back to "On" to end the third cycle and again press either the unlock or lock button on your remote. Listen for the locks to respond to the programming sequence by clicking.
- 7). Grab another remote and press the lock button on this remote to program it to the transmitter. Repeat this step for a third remote, if you have one, and turn the key back to the "Off" position once you are finished to end the programming sequence.
