Pictured on this page is a photo of the inside workings of the BDP-83, as seen from the rear of the player. Without getting into technical specifics, on the far right side of the photo, is the Power Supply section. Just to the left is the Blu-ray Disc/DVD/CD disc drive. The main board shown, which is in front (form this vantage point) of the disc drive houses the main digital audio processing and video decoding circuitry.

Lastly, to the left of the main board is another audio processing board.
