How to Clean Wood Veneer Kitchen Tables
- 1). Wipe off the tabletop with a damp cloth to remove food, spills or dust.
- 2). Mix warm water and a squirt of liquid hand soap in a small bowl. Dip a soft cloth into the mixture. Rub onto the table to clean. Or use a wood cleaning product, following the manufacturer's instructions for spraying or rubbing into the table and the amount of product to use.
- 3). Dampen a soft cloth in cool water. Rub on the table to remove any leftover soap residue.
- 4). Combine one part lemon oil to three parts olive oil in a bowl. Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and rub into the table in a circular motion. Continue until the table is polished. Alternatively, use a wood furniture polish, following the manufacturer's directions.
