    • 1). Turn the gas valve to the off position and place the drain container under the carburetor. Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the carburetor using the wrench and allow the gas to drain from the carburetor. Replace the drain plug at the bottom of the carburetor.

    • 2). Loosen the screw on the tube that is connecting the carburetor to the engine using the screwdriver at the point where the tube connects to the carburetor. Remove the screw connecting the tube to the engine at the point where the tube is connected to the carburetor as well.

    • 3). Loosen the metal clamp that is connecting the air intake tube to the carburetor using the screwdriver. Pull the carburetor from the engine.
