How Can I Synchronize Folders Between Two Networked Computers?
- 1). Click the "Start" button and type "Sync Center" in the Search box, and then Press the "Enter" key on your keyboard to launch the utility.
- 2). Click the "Set up New Partnerships" link in the left pane. Click the "Sync" button to manually synchronize files in a folder, or click the "Schedule" option to allow automatic synchronization of your files and folders daily.
- 3). Click the "Create a New Sync Schedule" from the next window that opens and select the folders that you would like to automatically synchronize. Click the "Next" button to continue.
- 4). Click the "At a Scheduled Time" option, in the next window, then the "More Options" button.
- 5). Click the "Computer has been Idle for at least 5 minutes" check box and the "Ok" button.
- 6). Click the "Next" button to continue, then name the File Schedule and click the "Save Schedule" button.
- 7). Select the folders for synchronization from your local computer and the folders from the second computer.
- 8). Set the rules of the Sync timing and choose whether you would like to update the current files.
- 9). Click the "Finish" button and you have now set up two synchronized folders across your network.
