How to Hang a Toiletry Holder for Kids
- 1). Determine where you'd like to hang the kids' toiletry holder. If mounting over drywall, plaster or paneling, Place a stud finder against the wall to find the nearest stud. Mark the stud's location with a marker. Then hold the mounting brackets against the wall over the stud. Insert a marker into the mounting bracket's holes to mark the location of each hole.
- 2). Put on eye protection and a dust mask. Drill pilot holes into the marked points on the wall with a drill. Select a drill bit slightly smaller than the diameter of the mounting screws included with the toiletry holder. Place the plastic screw sleeves in the pilot holes.
- 3). Align the holes in the mounting brackets with the pilot holes on the wall. Secure the mounting brackets to the wall with a screwdriver or screw drill. Hang the toiletry holder on the mounting brackets. On some models, the holder will snap into the mounting brackets; others may will slide into the mounting brackets.
- 4). Clean up any dust on the wall with a dust cloth and vacuum up any fallen dust from drilling the pilot holes.
- 5). Place toiletries in the holder.
