How to Make My Keyboard Bilingual
- 1). Click the "Start" button and choose "Control Panel" to display the "Control Panel" window. Then click "Clock, Language and Region" and "Change Keyboards or Other Input Methods." The "Region and Language" dialog box appears.
- 2). Click the "Change Keyboards" button under the "Keyboards and Language" tab to display the "Text Services and Input Languages" dialog box.
- 3). Select the "General" tab and click the "Add" button to display the "Add Input Language" dialog box.
- 4). Choose the language that you need by clicking it. If needed, click the "Plus" sign to choose a specific keyboard variation for the language. Click the "OK" button to accept your choice and close the "Add Input Language" dialog box. The selected language appears as one of the "Installed Services" in the "Text Services and Input Language" dialog box. Note the icon associated with the chosen language. For example, an icon labeled "ES" is associated with Spanish while "EN" refers to English.
- 5). Click the "OK" button twice to close all dialog boxes. Note the icon of the current keyboard language on the right side of your taskbar. Click that icon and easily change the language you want to apply to your keyboard. Switch to any language you added by clicking the icon.
