Bose was the first company to actively start marketing the noise cancelling headphones to travelers. Weather it be to people who traveled on a plane to get to their destination or those that use the subway or bus for their daily commute. There are many people willing to pay for a pair of headphones that would dramatically reduce noise without having to turn up the volume. Bose had an answer for the problem with the QuietComfort brand of headphones.

Bose biggest seller was the QC 2. Many reviewers praised it for the features it offered. But with the next version Bose made a big mistake by releasing a pair of headphones that were even more expensive with less features. One of the biggest problems was the shrinking of the earcups which reduced their ability to block noise. The new QC15 is going by the motto "back to what works".

The newest headphone released by Bose is basically a remake of the QC2. The QC15 is the same color as previous versions, black and silver. They also have the around the ear headphones with soft foam padding. One triple A battery powers the headset that will last for around 35 hours. It also includes a 5 foot audio cable, a carrying case, and a pair of two prong airline adapters.

As stated before nothing has really changed from the QC2 version of the headphones. That means that the Bose QC headphones are really nice but they in no way stand out enough to make them worth the asking price of $300 bucks. There are other less expensive brands out there that will down right compete if not knock Bose out the race in noise cancellation and sound department. If you are willing to pay the price for a nice pair of headphones that remain comfortable and easy to wear regardless of the size of your head, then you might just want to consider the QuietComfort.
