How do I Uninstall Programs on My G4 Running OS X?

    • 1). Start your G4 computer and allow the OS X desktop to load. Click on your hard drive on the desktop.

    • 2). Click on the "Applications" folder to open it. Locate the icon of the program you want to uninstall from your G4.

    • 3). Click, hold, and drag the icon to the "Trash Can" on the OS X dock. The program will move to your "Trash Can" and be uninstall from your Mac G4.

    • 4). Close the "Applications" folder and return to your hard drive window. Click the "Library" folder to open it.

    • 5). Search for any files associated with the program you are uninstalling in the G4's "Library." Drag these files to the "Trash Can." Repeat these steps for any additional programs you would like to remove and they will be completely uninstalled from your Mac G4.
