    • 1). Open the fuse panel under the steering column by manually pulling down on it.

    • 2). Locate the fuse for the headlights on the fuse diagram on the underside of the fuse cover.

    • 3). Pull the fuse for the headlights with the fuse pullers located in the fuse panel.

    • 4). Replace the fuse if the metal strip inside the fuse is broken.

    • 5). Turn on the headlights by rotating the combination switch on the left side of the steering column away from you. If one of the headlights does not come on, you may have a burned out headlight. If both do not come on, you may need to replace both headlights, or you may have a problem with the wiring running to the headlights.

    • 6). Open the hood and examine the wiring running to the back of the headlights. The wiring should not be damaged in any way. There should be no signs of fraying or exposed wiring. If there are, have the wiring replaced by a professional mechanic.

    • 7). Unplug the electrical plug from the back of the headlight.

    • 8). Turn the headlight counterclockwise and remove it from the back of the headlight housing.

    • 9). Examine the headlight. If the filament inside the bulb is broken, replace the headlight.
