Instructions

• 1). Open your browser and download Dell's Integrated Webcam Application.
  
  
• 2). Run the installation once the download has completed, following the on-screen instructions.
  
  
• 3). Restart your computer when prompted to do so.
  
  
• 4). Open the program with which you want to use the cam (e.g. Yahoo! Messenger, AIM, Skype).
  
  
• 5). Open the program's preferences (usually found under the "Tools" menu).
  
  
• 6). Locate the "Video" settings. Most programs will have a tab labeled "Video" where you can adjust these settings.
  
  
• 7). Select "Dell Integrated Webcam" under the heading labeled "Select Video Device" (or something similar).
  
  
• 8). Establish a video chat with a contact to ensure that the webcam is working. If using a program to record your video, attempt a trial recording.
