Hanging Curtains on a Door Bottom Rod
- 1). Align each sash rod bracket with the outer edges of the window. Screw the rod brackets into the door 2 inches above and 2 inches beneath the door window's upper and lower edges.
- 2). Place the top curtain rod pocket on a sash curtain rod. Attach the rod to the top rod brackets.
- 3). Run the remaining sash rod through the bottom curtain rod pocket. Hook the bottom curtain rod to the bottom rod brackets.
- 4). Spread the curtain to evenly distribute it along the top and bottom rods. Leave the curtain closed to fully cover the window. Alternately, attach a tieback to the center of the curtain for an hourglass look.
