The Victoria tube platform tile motif is a silhouette of Queen Victoria created by Edward Bawden, who also designed the tile motifs for Tottenham Hale and Highbury & Islington. The original silhouette was by Benjamin Pearce.

Victoria station is the second busiest on the network after Waterloo. A plaque in the ticket hall records the visit of Queen Elizabeth to open the Victoria Line in 1969.
