Georgie Porgie, the busiest artist I know, somehow finds time to work on his own music and has released a new single. "I Believe" has 12 remixes from the super remix team of Josh Harris, TNT, Mike Cruz, Jamin-G and, of course, Georgie Porgie himself.

Georgie starts off the single with a radio mix. Both the bass and string melody take turns driving this mix (and the club mix), making it super hot as well as making this remix my favorite on the single.


My second favorite is the Josh Harris; he once again blends his filter disco sound and makes it a great energetic mix. It reminds me a bit of something that Full Intention would put out. The next mix is by Jamin-G; these mixes also have a strong melody, but this time it's a wah effect guitar that sounds really hot. TNT, with another Delicious radio and vox mix, puts their electro club (as I call it) talents to work again, making these versions very interesting to listen to with all the sounds going on.

Mike Cruz, whom I've known since the very early 1990s, has really been making some major noise the last few years, and he's added his NYC sound to this single giving it some serious tribal vibe. This version has a deep underground synth sound that in my opinion is the circuit-sounding mix of the single and the one most likely to be heard in the clubs. The well-known Danny Tsettos also lends his talents to this single with a radio and club mix. Danny's version has a driving bass line and trancy strings that gives this version a trippy vibe.

I give this CD 4 out of 5 stars.
