First off, when you get into an argument with other people, the most common thing that people do to make the situation worse is to try to be right and win the argument.
Some people have to be right all the time and if you have tried your best to rationalize or compromise the situation and they still do not cooperate, just walk away.
It's not worth the emotional trouble.
When you walk away, there won't be any more confrontation and anger cannot build up if there is no opposing force to build upon it.
Secondly, realize that anger is an emotion that can always be channeled into something more positive.
If you find yourself in an angry situation, try to calm down and relax.
Go to someplace where you are not disturbed are sit down or even lay down.
Feel the energy within you and be conscious of what's going on.
Don't try focus your thoughts on a problem that you are having or the situation that caused you to become angry, just be conscious of your surroundings and of what is going on in your body.
Doing this and letting the energy pass through your body for some time will help you become more peaceful and calm to later solve a problematic situation and to continue to get work done during the day.
