    • 1). Remove the battery cap from the green laser pointer. Remove the batteries. Put the battery cap and the batteries aside.

    • 2). Hold the front and the back of the green laser pointer between two hands. Twist the two halves of the laser pointer until the glue in the seam at the middle cracks.

    • 3). Remove the front half of the green laser pointer that has the lens in it. Put that half aside.

Take the jeweler's screwdriver and adjust the exposed screw at the front of the laser mechanism. Turn the screw in a clockwise direction until it can no longer be turned.

    • 4). Put the half of the green laser pointer with the exposed laser mechanism down on a work surface.

Plug the soldering iron in and let it heat up.

    • 5). Apply the tip of the soldering iron to the circuit board above the screw of the laser mechanism. Take the tip of the soldering iron away after 6-8 seconds have passed. Unplug the soldering iron.

    • 6). Reassemble the two halves of the green laser pointer back together. Apply bonding glue to the center where the glue was cracked off. Hold the two halves together until the bonding glue sets.

    • 7). Put the batteries back into the green laser pointer's battery compartment. Screw the battery cap back on.

Press the button to activate the laser light. Your green laser pointer is now as powerful as that of an expensive model.
