Catholic Colleges in New Jersey
- Some of the country's finest institutions of higher learning call New Jersey home---Princeton University, Rutgers University and Seton Hall University, to name a few. New Jersey also houses an impressive list of smaller Catholic colleges. These schools focus on combining academic achievement with Catholic studies and the Christian Catholic way of life. Most of the schools were founded by Catholic sisters or monks and have a long history of Catholic community service.
- Assumption College for Sisters provides a two-year program in the liberal arts and theology. The college offers an associate of arts and associate in religious arts degrees. The Assumption College for Sisters, accredited under the Middle States Association of Colleges and Universities, also provides a certificate in religious studies to students who have earned a total of 30 credits in theology and philosophy. The school receives sponsorship from the Sisters of Christian Charity and private donations. According to the school's website, any woman accepted by a Catholic religious community is eligible to apply for admission.

acs350.org - Caldwell College offers three bachelor degree programs---bachelor of arts, bachelor of fine arts and bachelor of science. Caldwell has numerous academic majors and minors from which to choose, including accounting, communication arts and theology. The Sisters of Saint Dominic founded Caldwell College in 1939, and the school has accreditation under the Middle States Association of Colleges and Universities. Adults pursuing part-time degrees make up approximately half of the 2,300 students attending the college. In 2009 the school launched its first doctoral program, specializing in applied behavioral analysis. Caldwell also offers master's degrees in a number of areas, including art therapy, business administration and counseling psychology.

caldwell.edu - Founded in 1872, Saint Peter's College is a Jesuit, Catholic liberal arts school. The college offers 38 different bachelor's programs and a number of associate degree programs. The undergraduate day sessions fall under the college of arts and sciences and the school of business administration. Saint Peter's College also has graduate degree programs in education, business administration, accounting and nursing. The school has a campus ministry, a center for personal development and additional student services and organizations. The college has approximately 3,000 full and part-time students from the United States and 60 other countries. The school's main campus resides in Jersey City, with an adult education center in Englewood Cliffs.
