An up-and-coming indie-rock band out of Las Vegas highlight this week's Billboard Rock Charts. Also, a few Grammy rock nominees make their presence felt as well.

5. Soundgarden - "Been Away Too Long" (Purchase/Download)
For the fourth time in five weeks, Muse top the Rock Airplay chart with "Madness." There's precious little movement in the rest of the Top Five, with the notable exception of Soundgarden, who jump up to No. 5 with "Been Away Too Long," the lead single from their comeback album King Animal.
Rock Albums Chart

Imagine Dragons hail from Sin City, and their full-length debut, Night Visions, takes over the Rock Albums chart, knocking The World From the Side of the Moon (from Phillip Phillips) all the way down to No.
4. Also bursting into the Top Five is + from Ed Sheeran. All in all, we've got four debut full-length albums in the Top Five. (By comparison, Mumford & Sons are the wily veterans in this group.)
Alternative Songs Chart

3. Mumford & Sons - "I Will Wait" (Purchase/Download)
4. The Lumineers - "Ho Hey" (Purchase/Download)
5. Atlas Genius - "Trojans" (Purchase/Download)
"Madness" has now been at No. 1 for an impressive 12 weeks on the Alternative Songs chart. Can anyone stop Muse's run? Perhaps the Black Keys, whose latest single, "Little Black Submarines," rises a notch to No. 2. (This isn't the only place where Muse and the Black Keys are fighting it out: They're both up for Best Rock Album at the Grammys.)
Alternative Albums Chart

3. The Lumineers - The Lumineers (Purchase/Download)
4. Of Monsters and Men - My Head Is an Animal

5. fun. - Some Nights (Purchase/Download)
Night Visions is also the champ on the Alternative Albums chart, ending Babel's five-week reign. The other strong showing comes from Of Monsters and Men, whose My Head Is an Animal crashes into the Top Five, settling in at No. 4.
Hard Rock Albums Chart
1. Led Zeppelin - Celebration Day (Purchase/Download)2. Linkin Park - Living Things (Purchase/Download)
3. Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night) (Purchase/Download)
4. Soundgarden - King Animal (Purchase/Download)
5. Three Days Grace - Transit of Venus (Purchase/Download)
Living Things has come out of nowhere to reassert itself on the Hard Rock Albums chart, moving from No. 5 to No. 2. But even that isn't enough to dislodge Celebration Day from the top spot, which it's now held for six weeks. And even though we're past Christmas, enough shoppers still want Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night): The latest from Trans-Siberian Orchestra is at No. 3 after nine weeks.
