How to Remove Henna From Blonde Hair
- 1). Soak the washcloth in rubbing alcohol and apply the alcohol evenly to your hair, starting with the ends. Avoid dripping a lot of alcohol on your scalp, as it will dry the skin.
- 2). Pour a small amount of mineral oil into your hands and rub it through your hair. Coat the hair from ends to roots, again avoiding contact with the scalp. Repeat step to make sure your hair is saturated with oil.
- 3). Coil your hair loosely under the shower cap, making sure all of your hair is tucked underneath. Heat your hair evenly with a hair dryer for about 30 minutes. Mount your hair dryer on the wall if possible to avoid your arms getting tired.
- 4). Remove the shower cap and step into the shower. Pat your hair down with shampoo before wetting it. Lather gently under warm water and rinse. Repeat as necessary to remove all oil.
- 5). Gently detangle your hair with a paddle brush and coat the strands evenly with a deep moisture leave-in conditioner. Let soak for 40 minutes, then comb through evenly. Repeat daily after showering to restore hair's original moisture.
