How to Bead Knit

    • 1). String the beads onto the yarn. Thread the end of the yarn on the tapestry needle. Poke the needle through the hole on the bead and pull the bead down onto the yarn. Continue adding the beads until you have the total needed number of beads for your knit piece. You can add as many beads as you wish to the piece, but pay attention to the weight of the yarn with the beads. The more beads you add, the more weight that is added to the finished piece.

    • 2). Cast on the desired number of stitches for the pattern you're working on. Work from the pattern until you're ready to add a bead to the piece.

    • 3). Pull up a bead from the yarn. Knit into the next stitch, pushing the bead into place with your finger as you knit the stitch. Hold the bead in place with your finger while you knit the next stitch.

    • 4). Repeat Step 3 each time you need to add a bead to the piece. Continue to the end of the piece based on your pattern.
