Remove your feet from the bath soak and pat them dry with a clean bath towel. Rub a dampened pumice stone back and forth over the calluses on your heels to wear away the thick skin. Use the pumice stone for three or four minutes at each session. Rinse the pumice stone to remove dead skin cells and allow it to air dry.

    • 3). Dampen your skin with warm water. Place a dime-sized amount of exfoliating foot scrub in your hands. Scrub your heels and the rest of your feet with the scrub to remove dead skin cells. Rinse your feet with warm water and pat them dry.

    • 4). Apply a thick coat of petroleum jelly to your heels while the skin is still moist. Put on cotton socks to keep the petroleum jelly on your feet. Wear the socks overnight, if possible.

    • 5). Remove your cotton socks. Rub foot moisturizer into your heels and the rest of your feet in the morning.
