How to Make a PowerPoint Play on a DVD
- 1). Open the PowerPoint presentation. Get it set up to play in full screen so you can record the slideshow as it plays.
- 2). Open CamStudio and begin recording the screen. Allow the presentation to finish, then stop the CamStudio recording process. Save the recorded content as an AVI file format and place it into a folder where you can find it easily, such as your "Desktop" folder, then close CamStudio. If you use another screen recording program that saves video to AVI format, use it instead.
- 3). Open Avi2DVD and convert the AVI file into an DVD ISO image. The default settings in Avi2Dvd are fine for most users, but you may customize them. Name and save the ISO disc image to a folder, then close Avi2Dvd.
- 4). Use native disc burning software that will handle the creation of DVD media or open ImgBurn and select the option to burn an image to disc.
- 5). Insert a blank DVD and begin the burn process. Once complete, the disc will allow your PowerPoint to play on a DVD.
- 1). Purchase and download the software of your choice. Applications such as "Moyea PPT to DVD Burner Pro," "Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Pro" and "Wondershare PPT2DVD Pro" are popular and affordable. Any one of these programs will perform the same work and produce the same output as the three free programs used in the manual process.
- 2). Enter your registration code or perform any task required to fully register your new software program.
- 3). Use your new program to convert the PowerPoint file directly to DVD and burn it. Each software program will have its own directions, but programs typically offer a user-friendly "wizard" that guides you step by step.
