How to Lower the Top on a 1969 Chevelle Convertible
- 1). Locate the handles at the top corners of the windshields. There will be one above each of the sun visors.
- 2). Pull the driver side handle out to release the lock on that side. The driver side of the top will pop out of the lock.
- 3). Pull the handle on the passenger side out. This will release the other side of the top.
- 4). Push the top to the back of the car. The top will fold as it retracts behind the back of the rear seats.
- 5). Place the leather cover over the opening. All of the snaps on the cover will match to the snaps on to the hole. Snap all the buttons around the cover to conceal the opening.
