Pioneer DVR-105 Problems
- The Pioneer DVR-105 may not recognize discs you place in the machine. In many cases, the disc is the problem. Some discs can be damaged when manufactured, packaged or shipped. Try another disc in the DVR. If more than one disc does not work, run a CD/DVD cleaning disc in the machine.
- When your computer does not recognize the Pioneer DVR-105, you need to check the internal component connections. Unplug the power source and peripheral devices from the back of your computer, release the case's locking latches and slide the case open. Secure the four wires connected to the back of the DVR inside the computer and the opposite ends of the wires to the motherboard before closing the case and restarting the computer.
- Pioneer designed the DVR-105 with an emergency eject button to help you remove discs stuck in the machine. Stick a paper clip into the small hole above the "Phones" jack to eject the disc tray and retrieve your stuck disc. Only use this option if you cannot open the DVR using the standard "Eject" button.
